Program
Church Street Montessori offers only the Casa program, a program for 2 ½ to 5 year olds.
Casa (2 ½ - 5 years)
Half-day Program (8:45 AM – 11:45 AM)
Full-day Program (8:45AM – 3:30 PM)
After school care (3:30 PM – 4:30 PM)
Children enter the CASA program before the age of 4, ideally between the age of 2 ½ and 3 1/2.
They are encouraged to complete the three -year cycle (4 years if the child enters at 2 ½ years of age) and stay with Montessori until the age of 5 or 6 when they leave for grade one.
Attending Montessori for only one year can be a waste of money.

Snacks and Lunch
Snacks are provided by the school. Parents of the older children (junior and senior kindergarten) have the option of sending a bag lunch or having the catered lunch delivered to the school (at a cost determined by the caterer). Children not yet in junior kindergarten who are staying full day must opt for the catered lunch (as dictated by the Day Nurseries Act) unless a written note is issued by the parents.
Outside Play
Outside play is an important part of any childhood. We play outside everyday, weather permitting. Our children get wet and dirty. We recommend not sending children to school in their ‘Sunday best’.
