Spring treat for our little ones – informative and fun!
It was a lovely spring day in April and our morning trip to the local maple sugar bush with children and parent volunteers was a delightful treat. We enjoyed a few hours filled with valuable information on how maple sap is collected and eventually made into maple syrup followed by some fun activities.
The informative session offered by the guide was mesmerizing for children. They not only enjoyed a wagon ride into the farm, but also devoured freshly made pancakes accompanied by locally made maple syrup and maple butter. The parent volunteers enjoyed their morning coffee with maple sugar. All in all, it was a morning beautifully spent.
Here are some of the memorable images from our trip to the maple sugar bush.
